The scope collapses to just under 13” and weighs 21.5 ounces according to info I read online. Focusing is push-pull and rotate the eyepiece. There are 12 click stop detents for rough focusing and you rotate the tube for fine focusing which is very precise. The optics are in great shape, but the tube lacks paint, not sure why. The tube is quite substantial which probably explains the lack of dents. There is a brass Tinsley badge riveted to the tube, the original threaded aluminum eyepiece cap, original tripod mounting block, and original lens cap and suede leather bag – bag zipper is broken.
They simply do not make scopes like this anymore. –
