BAUSCH & LOMB ASTRO BANNER 1000 Telescope , 80mm (3"), f12.5.
One of the last great long focal refractors made in Japan. Includes 6x30 Celestron finder, Celestron 90 prism diagonal, 25mm Plossl eyepiece, hardwood tripod. Everything original except for one improvised tray connector arm - and the dew shield has been straightened and repainted - looks good.
Objective is in an adjustable cell and is flawless and extremely sharp. Mount made in 80s, probably by MIZAR (Mount is much like a Super Polaris). Polar scope has lighted polar reticle w/ 9v rheostat control. OTA was probably made by KENKO in Japan. Star test shows clear airy disc and 1st diffraction ring - GREAT OPTICS! Chromatic is minimal. Collimation is excellent. Collimating cell is push/pull. Objective is clean, no dings.

Condition is very good. Asking $255 w/o Telrad finder. $290 with Telrad finder.
